do-not-install list for an assembly version: Place the parts that are unique to specific assembly options into cells as shown to the right in this blue area. Drag to
select all parts listed at the right. Click Get/Test to put all of these
parts into the display box. |

To create a new BOM by subtracting a do-not-install list from the entire
list of installable parts: Select the cell of do-not-install parts at the right in this green area for the desired build. Click Get/Test. Place cursor at U29-U32 in the All_RefDes column below. Choose Subtract_Dsply_V and click Apply The new list of refdes created in the Scratchpad column will represent the build. Select U29-U32 at the top of the new column and use Auto-Paste_V to get new counts. Copy the new columns to another location and clear the scratchpad columns so they can be re-used for another assembly version. |
