Refinate Using AutoFilter#1

Some assembly lists have one reference designator per row and most part fields are duplicated on each row. During conversion of this type of list to one part per row, choose the option to remove the redundant text.

Note: Converting to hyphenated ranges is optional.

Begin by bolding only one cell in a column that changes only once per part (e.g. use the part number). D2 has been bolded in the original table at the top of this page.

Select the whole table and click Apply for the One-row-per-part action. When asked if you what to remove redundant text, click Yes.
